A Nonchurchgoer's Guide to Jesus and His Kingdom

What Sort of Things Does God Want to See from Us?

Posted in Repentance to Righteousness by Mike Gantt on February 15, 2013

God likes it best when we stop doing wrong and start doing right.

That means when we stop gossip, greed, lust, anger, resentment, bitterness, hypocrisy, and things like these, and instead start practicing kindness, gentleness, forbearance, forgiveness, discipline, generosity, and things like these.

We can’t become perfect in a day, but we can show progress every day.

Are we afraid that if we improve our ways that He won’t take notice?

Bible notes on this post.

The purpose of this blog is to proclaim Jesus Christ to those who want to hear about Him without having to join a church – or anything or anyone else – but Him.

Shouldn’t that naturally come for a believer whom is indwelled with the holy spirit?

Yes, but it’s surprising how many self-proclaimed believers do not seem to understand this.
