Jesus Christ Was God Passing This Way – Part 1 of 3

What if God wanted to get our attention?  What if, being separated from us, He wanted to provide us a way to get back together?  If He wanted these things, what might He do?

We know that what He actually did was take on human flesh and become one of us.  He did not send one-third of Himself to take on human flesh; rather, He gave Himself completely to the task.

Jesus of Nazareth was God walking the earth.  He did not come with the sort of fanfare we might have expected from the King of the Universe.  On the contrary, He walked among us as a humble and lowly one.  Many of us did not recognize Him as a godly man,  much less as God Himself.

Jesus makes us re-think our conception of God.  If God is willing to be that humble, how humble should you and I be?

Live for Christ that you might become like Him…and share His humility.

Call on His name and He will answer.  Don’t ask Him for things; ask Him for the power to be like Him.
